Braemar
‘Braemar’ is a superb holiday home with kitchen, dining room, lounge, family bathroom, three bedrooms (master bedroom with en suite) and two gardens overlooking the picturesque Oban bay.
About Braemar
Three bedrooms including two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, there is a sofa bed in the family room on the ground floor. The Master has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with large shower and a built in wardrobe with spectacular views from the bay window to Mull and beyond. The second bedroom has a double bed, its own wash basin, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The single room has a single bed and chest of drawers. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over the bath.
The kitchen on the ground floor contains washing machine, four ring hob, oven, fridge/freezer and backdoor to the gardens. The dining area has an extendable dining table for 4-6 people and a small sofa bed.
The lounge has a comfortable corner sofa, small desk, working fireplace and high speed fibre broadband internet provided for whole property.
All rooms have beautiful views over Oban Bay, overlooking the marina, Kerrera and Isle of Mull.
There is a garden on the ground floor level which in the afternoon catches the sun and makes a perfect area to enjoy a drink. The second garden is accessible via steps at the rear of the house and is located on the old laundry lawns above the rooftop, Affording panoramic views over the whole bay and islands from our new purpose built deck. This is a wonderful area to have BBQ, enjoy a bottle of wine or just watch the sunset.
The house is being let as a whole and guests have access to the house, two gardens and private two car parking spaces right outside the house.
The house has free internet access, TV and a pay phone (for those that don’t want to use their mobiles).
Other Things to Note
The house has wireless internet and TV, as well as a payphone.
Due to the effort involved we do ask for a minimum stay of three nights per bookings.
OUT ABOUT TOWN
The Neighbourhood
Oban is a lovely little seaside town with all the essentials nearby. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and local attractions such as the distillery, McCaig’s Tower, the Seal Sanctuary in Barcaldine or the Bridge over the Atlantic and Easdale Island draw in tourists from all over the world all year round.
If you are looking to explore your adventurous side why not try a spot of diving, kayaking, sailing, horse riding or skiing.
Getting Around
As ‘Gateway to the isles’ there are ferries to a variety of different Islands – such as Mull, Iona, Jura and Staffa to name but a few and the buses and trains that go on a regular basis from the town centre let you explore Glasgow, Fort William and all that’s in between for plenty of exciting days out.
No need for a car!
